Pescadero Fire Station No. 59

Project Summary

The Fire Station #59 project will build a new, state of the art, 4-bay Fire Station near Pescadero High School in an effort to improve operational resilience in the County's largest fire district. The new, single-story, 12,000SF station will be built outside the floodplain and will offer state-of-the-art efficiency upgrades that will directly benefit Pescadero and south San Mateo County.

The Pescadero Fire Station #59 project will relocate and expand fire services for one of the County's largest and most vulnerable fire districts. We are replacing the old barracks with larger, safer facilities that will ensure greater operational uptime and lower cost of operations.

The new fire station site will be above the floodplain and situated to assure continuity of service during flood events, forest fires and other natural disasters.
