This meeting of the Pescadero Municipal Advisory Council will be held in the community room found at the La Honda-Pescadero Unified School District Office, located at 360 Butano Cutoff, Pescadero.  Members of the public will be able to participate in the meeting in person in the community room or remotely via the Zoom platform.  For information regarding how to participate in the meeting either in person or remotely, please refer to the instructions below.

CONSENT AGENDA

All items in the consent agenda may be approved by a single action.  Any item may be pulled for discussion prior to approval.  Any amendments may be made to the items in the consent agenda with the approval action or as a separate action prior to the consent agenda approval.

REGULAR AGENDA

1. PMAC Officers

Per Section 2.3 of the PMAC Bylaws, officers of Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary shall be elected and/or re-elected by majority vote of the council.  This election is for the 2026 year.

2. Reports to Council

Representatives may provide a report to the Council on items not agendized elsewhere.

a. San Mateo County Supervisor Ray Mueller’s Office

Kathleen Moazed will provide updates on actions and business from San Mateo County Supervisor Ray Mueller’s office that affect the PMAC area.

b. San Mateo County Fire Department

The San Mateo County Fire Department may send a representative to provide a report on the fire station and safety affecting the PMAC area.

3. SMC Libraries Annual Report

The San Mateo County Libraries will present to the council on updates from 2025 and provide what to expect for 2026 for activities and services as they affect the advisory council’s area.

4. Urban Habitat and Farmworker Housing

Urban Habitat will present to the council on Farmworker Housing in the council’s area.

5. MROSD Cloverdale Ranch Interim Public Access Project

Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District will present on their project to provide interim public access to Cloverdale Ranch Open Space Preserve.

6. Letter a Month

Councilor Erridge would like to discuss the monthly crafting a letter of gratitude to local organizations.

7. Council Meeting Location

The council will discuss and may take action on the location of the next regular meeting.  The next regular meeting is currently scheduled for February 10, 2026.

8. Councilor Reports

Councilors may report on business within the area and discuss items to agendize in the future.

a. Administrative

Councilors may report on business activities taken or that need to be taken for the administration of Council business.  This may include, but is not limited to service renewals, meeting logistics, and meeting supplies.

b. Agriculture and Commerce

Councilors may report on Agriculture and Commerce as they affect the area.  This may include, but is not limited to farm/business owners and workers, monitoring current issues, and looking forward to issues affecting agriculture and commerce.

c. Education

Councilors may report on Education within the area.  This may include, but is not limited to child/adult learning opportunities, educational events, libraries, and schools.

d. Health and Safety

Councilors may report on Health and Safety within the area.  This may include, but is not limited to law enforcement, fire, emergency operations, and medical services.

e. Housing and Development

Councilors may report on Housing and Development within the area.  This may include, but is not limited to zoning, permitting, and housing access.

f. Parks and Recreation

Councilors may report on Parks and Recreation within the area.  This may include, but is not limited to the Pescadero Community Space Project, Dark Sky Initiative, Pescadero to the Sea Trail, and Pescadero to the High School Trail.

g. Transportation

Councilors may report on transportation within the area.  This may include, but is not limited to parking, public transportation, and roads.

h. Utilities

Councilors may report on Utilities within the area.  This may include, but is not limited to electricity, sanitation, sewer, and water.

i. General

Councilors may report on items not covered above.
