Motion to adopt consent agenda proposed by Erridge – seconded by Horn - Approved unanimously.
Regular Agenda: Reports to Council
San Mateo County Supervisor Ray Mueller’s Office: Kathleen Moazed: Gave an update on the Workforce Entry & Economic Growth Initiative which the SMC BOS approved the $2m program to help residents land jobs, support local businesses.

San Mateo County Agriculture / Weights and Measures: Koren Widdel:Director of Agriculture, Weights and Measures: Provided an update on the ongoing fungus gnats issue in/around Pescadero. There is an active investigation happening to help solve the issue. It’s comprised of 3 SMC Depts. (EHS, Building & Planning, Dept of Ag). Widdel mentioned that there were no quick fixes, but that the farm and the county are collaborating to solve the issue. Widdel also shared tips on keeping the gnats from breeding in residents’ homes.
Public Comments: Several questions were raised on timing of a solution: No specifics were provided, but they are working diligently on the issue and will provide updates as available - Any tips on how to manage the gnats? Widdel said keep an eye on your house plants as the gnats like to breed in the top layer of soil. Let it dry out or remove and replace the top layer of soil. Community Recognition: Erridge presented a PMAC Letter of Appreciation to American Debris Box & Portables Inc. for their continued support of our community.

Counselor Comments: Motion by Augustine to approve the letter as written; seconded by Horn - Approved Unanimously. Present Board members signed the letter, which will be dispatched to the recipient shortly.
SMC RCD: Executive Director: Kellyx Nelson
Nelson gave a compelling and educational update on several projects happening in/around Pescadero (Little Butano Creek Fish Passage and Habitat Enhancement at the Chute and the Pescadero North Marsh North Pond Restoration Project). Additional information was shared concerning the La Honda Fire Break work, Agriculture water storage projects and annual chipper program.

Counselor Comments: The Board commented on the great work the RCD had been doing in our area and thanked Nelson and her team.
PMAC Bylaws Update: Councilor Augustine presented a proposed bylaw update to the Council. The proposed amendment will move the default meeting location from 363 Stage Road, Pescadero to 360 Butano Cutoff, Pescadero. The current bylaws have the previous meeting address. This amendment will add the new location address into the bylaws, so the board doesn’t need to agendize the location change every month.

Counselor Comments: Horn mentioned the need for other minor textual changes that need to be made. The Board decided to move forward with the amendment as is and review additional changes in a later review. Motion by Erridge to approve the amendment as is, seconded by Horn. Approved unanimously.
San Mateo County Fire Department: TheCal Fire representative provided an update on the new Light weight rescue vehicle at Station #59 (Ford F550).

Counselor Comments: Augustine inquired about weight restrictions on off-highway bridges. Cal Fire explained their crossing protocol, noting that personnel may only cross bridges with clearly posted weight ratings.
Council Meeting Location: The PMAC has officially moved to the LHPUSD Boardroom, but our current bylaws require a motion to move the venue if the venue location isn’t noted in the current bylaws.

Counselor Comments: Motion by Erridge to hold the March 10th, 2026, meeting at this location - Seconded by Horn. Approved Unanimously.
Councilor Reports:
Administrative: Erridge announced Loma Mar Day, scheduled for Sunday, March 8, from 3:00–5:30 PM at the Loma Mar Outpost (8150 Pescadero Creek Rd). Horn provided an update on the successful Merchants’ Meeting held February 3 and suggested holding additional outreach events throughout the year; the Board will revisit this for further discussion.

Housing and Development: Horn provided an update on the PMAC sponsored Housing Taskforce – Logistics are still being developed.

Parks and Recreation: Erridge mentioned the PCS SC meeting with interim SMC Parks Director Emma Gonzalez and that a banner with context will be printed and placed at the site soon.

Utilities:Erridge noted that PG&E recently closed 4700 PCR for a necessary electrical pole replacement but failed to provide the mandatory three-day public notice. This omission caused significant confusion and inconvenience for residents. Erridge has filed a formal complaint to prevent future recurrence; Horn and Augustine also expressed their frustration, sharing their own experiences regarding the matter.
Public Comments: None
General: Horn raised concerns regarding the use of Flock cameras in unincorporated areas of San Mateo County (SMC), specifically noting recent security breaches reported in other communities. The Board agreed to add this topic to next month’s agenda to gauge public sentiment and raise awareness. Additionally, Erridge committed to re-establishing contact with local law enforcement—including the Sheriff’s Office and CHP—to invite them to resume attendance at PMAC monthly meetings. Augustine asked for an update on the Western Wheelers Bicycle Ride on June 7th, 2026 (7:30-12:30). Erridge responded – The final map is still being edited by the club, and we should have the final next month.
Public Comments:Irma Rodriguez Mitton mentioned that the SMC BOS is in the process of extending the Flock camera contract.
